Who Am I?

Hi, I’m Kara Curtayne—founder of Karaccounts, online accountancy and bookkeeping services for small businesses.

I’m passionate about accountancy, and more importantly, about demystifying it for a new generation of self-sufficient entrepreneurs and business owners.

Over the years, I’ve spoken to many small business owners from different industries and there is a common theme: people tend to find the concept of accountancy pretty scary and intimidating. Plus it doesn’t help if you feel like you can’t ask your accountant and bookkeeper a straight question—and get a straight answer.

Well, buh-bye outdated accountancy and bookkeeping services—I’m changing this!
